The Glacier Park Reader (University of Utah Press) is an anthology of works written about Glacier Park since 1890. Including works from John Muir, George Bird Grinnell, and Vachel Lindsay, it explores topics from Native American myths to investigation of the park’s geology. Editor David Stanley was a professor of English at Westminster College and worked on the Glacier Park trail-maintenance crew for six summers in the 1960s.
