Go, Went, Gone

Richard is a retired classics professor who lives in Berlin and one day visits African refugees staging a hunger strike. Go, Went, Gone (New Directions) is a portrait of a man who discovers he has much in common with the refugees and serves as an indictment of Western policies concerning the refugee crisis.
