This book — a meditation on childhood and loss, and also a love story — acts as an accompaniment to Lemoine’s (whose stage name is Woodkid) newly released music album of the same title. Jerzak is Lemoine’s cousin. She teaches English Philology at Academia Pomeraniensis in Poland and is currently NEH Visiting Professor at SUNY Potsdam.
