Gravitation
Gravitation (Princeton University Press) is a graduate-level textbook, first published in 1973, that takes on Einstein's general theory of relativity and offers a rigorous discussion on gravitational physics. Once called "a pedagogic masterpiece," the text is considered canonical in the field of relativity, shaping the research of generations of physicists and astronomers. This latest edition features a new foreword by David I. Kaiser and a new preface by Charles W. Misner and Kip S. Thorne, who won a 2017 Nobel Prize in Physics.
