(Friesen Press) This book attempts to replace the standard functional definition of adulthood — earning an independent income, getting married, buying a house; accomplishments that many postpone these days due to both the economy and social circumstances — to a more character-based definition: You are an adult when you are ready to admit you are mortal and not the center of the universe. Strasburger was the Episcopal chaplain at Princeton for 11 years, and is now retired and living in Maine.
