Disability advocate Tuberty and hand trauma specialist Lightdale-Miric have teamed up to co-author The Hand Book (American Society for Surgery of the Hand). This book is an informational guide for parents of children with hand differences who are looking for support. They offer practical advice on a variety of topics including creating a healthy environment, making medical decisions, and selecting the right schools. Additionally, the book includes discussion questions and worksheets for families to process and work through challenges together. This book is a comprehensive resource that allows parents to empower both themselves and their children.
