In this young adult-novel, Kassandra Black, a high school vigilante, has her acceptance to Columbia revoked after she breaks into another student’s car. Now she must help her great-uncle for the summer in his HEAR program at Henley University if there’s any hope she’ll get into a college somewhere. Kass is astonished when she discovers all the HEAR students, including herself, have been recruited to gauge extrasensory perception.
