Ibn Khaldun, who lived from 1332-1406, was an influential mind in the Arab world. Through his new book, Ibn Khaldun (Princeton University Press) Robert Irwin ’72 endeavors to make his life more widely known and his ideas and writings clearer for a contemporary audience who has largely misunderstood him.
