Immigration and the Remaking of Black America

In recent years, increased immigration from the Caribbean and sub-Saharan Africa has fostered growing diversity within the black community in America. Immigration and the Remaking of Black America (Russell Sage) examines how black immigrants and native-born blacks can have different socioeconomic experiences, and teaches the importance of recognizing the diversity of the black population to better assess how and when progress towards social equality is being made.
