These accounts follow Gutmann’s 40 years in medicine, from his training in New York City through his life-long university hospital practice in West Virginia. Gutmann is the Hazel Ruby McQuain Professor of Neurology at the West Virginia University Health Sciences Center, where he cares for his patients and teaches medical students.
