Providing a short biography of each man’s life and presidency, he evaluates them in the areas of public communication, organizational capacity, political skill, policy vision, cognitive style, and emotional intelligence. Fred I. Greenstein is a professor of politics emeritus at Princeton University. He is the author of The Presidential Difference: Leadership Style from FDR to Barack Obama.
