 Isabel and the Invisible World (MIT Kids Press) is a children’s book that aims to educate on light waves in simple and understandable terms. The story follows Isabel, who wants to see invisible things as her sixth birthday gift. She’s gifted a glass prism, which opens a new world of bright colors that transform her room. The book also touches on wavelengths, radio waves, and x-rays to offer a rich learning experience complete with artwork from illustrator Ramona Kaulitzki.
