Katrina’s Imprint
(Rutgers University Press) Published five years after Hurricane Katrina, this book discusses how history, location, access to transportation, health care, and social positions are integral to the recovery and future of New Orleans. Various essays document the weaknesses present before the storm, the legacy of the hurricane, and how the lessons learned from Katrina should be applied in the future.
