Out of the bleakness and tragedy of the Covid-19 pandemic, emerged a hopeful movement of teachers collaborating with each other to better education systems and provide support. A Learning Community of Reflective Teachers (Routledge) explores this phenomenon and the power of teachers coming together. Traditionally, teachers have followed the guidelines of national policies or school districts. However, this volume poses the urgent question of what happens when teachers are given the space to build coalitions and work together, providing a useful framework manual for current teachers. In a polarizing time when teacher’s voices are sometimes suppressed, this is a reminder of the profound importance of teachers for our society.
