A Little More Human

Creative writing professor Fiona Maazel’s new novel, A Little More Human (Graywolf) stars Phil Snyder, a nursing assistant by day and mind-reading costumed superhero by night. When Phil wakes up from a blackout drunk and is confronted with photos that seem to show him assaulting a strange woman, he mind-reads his way through co-workers, adoring fans, and everyone else to determine if he is capable of such violence.
