(Merit Press) After her family is killed in a car accident, Sasha is so traumatized that she can no longer speak and loses most of her memories. Four years later, 17-year-old Sasha meets Ben, who seems to know what she’s thinking. With the help of Ben, who has secrets of his own, Sasha explores her past to try and recover her voice and finds that her family’s death might have been more than just an accident. Plissner majored in art history at Princeton and earned a law degree from UCLA. Her second novel is due to be published in May.
