A Modest Proposal: A One-Act Play

Although John and Mer have worked to create the ideal liberated relationship (and even love each other), they are growing apart. Then, John arrives at Mer’s apartment unannounced, late at night in the middle of a snowstorm with a solution. She mistakes his suggestion of a weekend in the country for a marriage proposal, forcing her to consider the wedding she both wants and fears.
