What is the “right” way to raise and educate a child? For mothers in Israel, with diverse cultural backgrounds, the answers are not always easy or similar. Mothering, Education and Culture: Russian, Palestinian and Jewish Middle-Class Mothers in Israeli Society (Palgrave Macmillan) is an anthropologic study of mothering practices developed from interviews with Russian, Palestinian, and Jewish residents of Israel.
