My Date with Neanderthal Woman

(Dzanc Books) This collection of short stories won Dzanc Books’ first short-story collection prize. The title piece is about a man who, growing tired of “modern women,” takes a Neanderthal woman who lives in a cave out on a date. It won an online humor contest and was published in the Norton anthology Flash Fiction Forward.
