My Life on the Courts (iUniverse) is the candid memoir of an African American federal judge who successfully confronted debilitating depression while rising to serve on the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. Henry Kennedy ’70 was the youngest federal judicial officer ever appointed when he became a United States magistrate at age 28. He chronicles his story from his family’s experience with racism and segregation through his decades-long career on the court and the challenge he overcame during his service.
