(Stanford University Press) In Nation and Family, Subramanian examines the laws that govern the three major religious groups and those systems’ public discourses, processes of social mobilization, legislation, and case law. He also offers comparisons between India and countries such as Turkey, Lebanon, and Iran. Subramanian is an associate professor of political science at McGill University.
