(Encircle Publications) Bellamy’s first poetry collection won the 2011 Encircle Publications annual chapbook contest and has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize for Poetry. Her poetry “dazzles with its clarity and humanness; its language is just hip enough to comfortably blast down urban streets under the arms of youthful scenesters, yet Zen-like with a transcendental prowess,” wrote Encircle Publications editors. Bellamy has won the 2008 Fugue Poetry Prize and has received three Pushcart Prize nominations. She studies poetry with Philip Schultz at The Writers Studio in New York City, where she also teaches.
