Responding to recent trends of antifeminist threads online, Zuckerberg dives into the virtual communities of the far right in Not All Dead White Men (Harvard University Press). She finds that many online who are threatened by the women’s empowerment often cite the Classics. Commenters have promoted traditional modes of masculinity by taking advantage of intellectualism and ancient thought, using ideas from the Classics to troll, and promote misogyny and racism.
