Parody: The Art that Plays with Art

(Peter Lang Publishing) In this book, Chambers explores the world of parody. He looks at variations within parodies and how they are used to create new artistic configurations and conventions. While examining this literary technique, he ultimately denies that it is simply a copycat device, but is, instead, a principal source of innovation and invention in the arts. Chambers is an adjunct assistant professor of English at Kennesaw State University.
