
PEN America Best Debut Short Stories 2018, featuring ‘Appetite’
Lin King ’16 makes her writing debut with her short story “Appetite,” adapted from a story in her Princeton Creative Writing thesis. Winner of the PEN/Robert J. Dau Short Story Prize for Emerging Writers, “Appetite” tells the story of a woman living in the bustling metropolis of postwar Taiwan. It is featured in the PEN America Best Debut Short Stories 2018 (Catapult) anthology.
