Poisoned by Pollution: An Unexpected Spiritual Journey
(AuthorHouse) Anne Lipscomb tells the story of the workplace illness she developed due to toxic chemicals in her employer’s new building. Out of more than 60 people affected, only she and one other employee stepped forward to challenge management on its stance that there was nothing wrong with the building. Over the course of 16 years, countless medical procedures, and a grueling legal proceeding against her employer, she learns to live with the illness she has developed (multiple chemical sensitivity) and gains valuable insight into what’s important in life. A former public relations manager, Lipscomb was one of just a few people in the state of Washington to receive worker’s compensation for illness related to sick-building syndrome.
