The Premonition is about the small group of scientists who saw the pandemic coming when no one else did. All the way back in January of 2020, this group of scientists, all of whom have dedicated their lives to understanding epidemiology, traced and predicted the exponential trajectory of the coronavirus. For the first time, Lewis’s book tells the story of just how unprepared our governments and institutions were for what was about to come.
