The Québec Affair
In the thriller The Québec Affair, which takes place during the height of the Vietnam War, Princeton graduate John Thurmond is recruited by the CIA to intercept classified information from a defecting Soviet agent. More than 10 years after the mission, Thurmond’s Canadian origins involve him in uneasy relationships that speak to the heart of the French Separatist movement and the French-Anglo rivalry in Québec.
