Olivia Gesso learns what it means to risk it all when she finds herself working at a recruiting job at a hip new startup. Deeply passionate about saving the last seeds of an extinct tree, while simultaneously working in an exploitative industry, Olivia faces a tough situation where she has to compromise her beliefs in order to support herself financially. Anderson’s novel explores questions of morality and environmental sustainability in an increasingly high-tech world.
