Reframing Academic Leadership

(Jossey-Bass/Wiley) In this guide for higher education leaders, the authors provide advice on how to create campus environments that facilitate creativity and commitment, forge alliances and partnerships in service to a mission; and serve larger goals of the institution and society, among other topics.   The book also tackles issues including building institutional clarity and capacity, managing conflict, coping with difficult people, partnering with the boss, and developing leadership resilience.   Gallos is a professor of leadership and director of the Executive MBA Program at the Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Bolman holds the Marion Bloch/Missouri Chair in Leadership at the Henry W.
