(McClain Printing) In his memoir, Gutmann tells the story of his family, who fled to the United States from Nazi Germany in the 1930s and bought a farm in New Jersey. He discusses his Jewish upbringing under an orthodox mother, and how he juggled his German and American identities. Gutmann is a professor of neurology at West Virginia University.
