Righteous Transgressions: Women’s Activism on the Israeli and Palestinian Religious Right examines how women in conservative religious movements expand political activism in ways that go beyond their movements’ strict ideas about male and female roles. Lihi Ben Shitrit ’06 studies four groups: Jewish settlers in the West Bank, ultra-Orthodox Shas, the Islamic Movement in Israel, and the Palestinian Hamas.
