This book of poems explores the lighter side of dark times. Both playful and poignant, Balmain offers clarity and comedy during this chaotic time. Divided into three sections — Spiraling Down, In Limbo, and Climbing Out — the poems cover a variety of topics including climate change, social media, pandemics, parenthood, and more. It includes traditional forms of poetry (sonnets, villanelles, terza rima, etc.), and a form Balmain has coined for the moment. Satan Talks to His Therapist (Paul Dry Books) is a humorous reflection on the human experience.
