Shirley Jackson: Novels and Stories
(The Library of America) Jackson was known for her weird and magical fiction and this collection provides a hearty sampling of it. The book includes The Lottery (1949) and the novels The Haunting of Hill House (1959) and We Have Always Lived in the Castle (1962). Oates is the Roger S. Berlind ’52 Professor in the Humanities with the Program in Creative Writing at Princeton.
