So Much to Be Done: The Writings of Breast Cancer Activist Barbara Brenner

Barbara Brenner *77, who died in 2013, was an influential breast cancer activist and executive director of Breast Cancer Action as well as the mind behind its Think Before You Pink® campaign. So Much To Be Done (University of Minnesota Press) is a collection of her columns and blog posts that tell her story of health-care activism and her own battles with cancer. Brenner’s words, inspiring and informative, tell readers what it is to live with a terminal disease and to die on one’s own terms.
