(Oxford University Press) In this study of Jewish law and rabbinic storytelling, Simon-Shoshan argues that narrative was essential to early rabbinic formulations and concepts of law, legal process, and authority. Simon-Shosham teaches rabbinic literature and biblical interpretation at the Rothberg International School of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
