As she readjusts to small-town life and mends her relationship with her sister, she also bonds with Willow, an abused Thoroughbred mare. Claire meets the horse’s attractive veterinarian, Tim Arbuckle, a widower who thought he would never fall in love again, and when Willow becomes sick, Claire and Tim work together to try to save her life. Theodorou is the author of three other romance novels, for which she has won several awards. She was raised in West Virginia.
