In Times of Danger

(Spuyten Duyvil) Oppenheimer’s fourth collection of poems presents a love story told in modern sonnets. The tale covers the period before, during, and after Sept. 11. It takes place in, and is informed by, its setting in and around New York, from the quiet Hudson River Valley to the bustling metropolis of New York City. Oppenheimer is a novelist, journalist, translator, short story writer, and the author of three previous volumes of poetry.
