(Research Institute for Mathematics) This book is an informal description in the Riemann style of Pogorzelski and his co-editor W. Snyder’s transtheoretic proof of the Goldbach Conjecture. This work is related to that of Nicolas Bourbaki, a penname attributed to a collection of 20th century French research mathematicians. Pogorzelski has been a professor of mathematics at the University of Maine for over 35 years. He is the director of the Research Institute for Mathematics, the only institution in Maine that grants doctoral degrees in mathematics.
