In Traveling Back: Toward a Global Political Theory, Susan McWilliams *06 explores the tradition of political theorizing that speaks to problems of political identity, hybridity, imperialism, and colonialism in our global age. McWilliams argues that in order to move toward a truly global political theory, we must first look backward to the neglected tradition of traveling back. McWilliams is an associate professor of politics at Pomona College.
