A Vision of Yemen (Stanford University Press) is the reflective first-hand account of Hayyim Habshush, a Yemeni Jew who accompanied the European orientalist Joseph Halévy on his archaeological tour of Yemen in 1869. This is the first English translation of Habshush’s work.
