Beginning in 1657 with the arrival of John Washington — great-grandfather of George — in Westmoreland County, Va., this multi-volume series covers 15 generations of the “presidential line” of the Washington family. More than 63,000 descendants are identified in the series, which includes 1,200 detailed biographical narratives about the family that produced our first president and helped build the country. Glenn is registrar general of the National Society of Washington Family Descendants.
