(Bucknell University Press) This book examines film noir — its definition and misconceptions about it. Park argues that the confusion surrounding the term stems from the fact that it is both a genre and period style and explores the implications of this. Park has taught at Hamilton College, Columbia, and Sarah Lawrence College.
