In Who Is Allah?, Bruce B. Lawrence ’62 offers an introduction to the heart of Islam. Drawing on history, culture, theology, politics, and the media, Lawrence explores key religious practices and discusses how Allah is interwoven into the everyday experience of millions of Muslims. Lawrence is a professor of the humanities at Duke University.
