Worldly Philosopher: The Odyssey of Albert O. Hirschman

Published Jan. 21, 2016

(Princeton University Press) An economist who lived through World War II and fought in the Spanish Civil War, Albert O. Hirschman certainly saw the dark side of humanity. Adelman is the Walter Samuel Carpenter III Professor of Spanish Civilization and Culture at Princeton.
