You Should Meet My Son!

This comedy written and directed by Hartman is about a conservative Southern mother who is horrified to discover that her only son is gay. Determined that he not go through life alone, she sets out to find him the perfect husband. The film has won “best feature” at three film festivals and “best screenplay” at the Festival Del Sol in Spain. B. Andrew Holland of the Los Angeles Examiner wrote, “One can not remember a gay comedy this inspired, clever, and in ways dead on accurate in years. … This new low budget indie feature will soon become a classic in the annals of gay cinema.” The DVD of the film was released in June and is available on Amazon.
