Annual Giving Raises $79.6 Million, Second-Highest Total in History
The 25th and 50th reunion classes each donated more than $9 million to Annual Giving in 2025-26, lifting the campaign to $79.6 million, the second-highest total in Princeton’s history, trailing only the $81.8 million raised in 2021-22.
The Class of 2001 ($9.4 million, with 70.7% of classmates participating) and the Class of 1976 ($9.2 million, with 64.9% of classmates participating) led a group of 10 major-reunion classes that each raised at least $1 million, according to a July release from the Annual Giving office. Fourteen non-major-reunion classes raised at least $500,000 each. Overall participation by undergraduate alumni declined slightly from 43.9% in 2024-25 to 43.7% this year.
Graduate alumni contributed $2.1 million, and Princeton parents raised $1.5 million for the campaign, which provides unrestricted support for University priorities such as teaching, research, and financial aid.
“The extraordinary outcome of this year’s Annual Giving campaign is a testament to the loyalty and generosity of our alumni, parents, and friends and to the commitment and enthusiasm of our incredible volunteer team,” Annual Giving chair Deb Yu ’98 said in the release.
