There are almost as many different recollections of when, where, and why these ’68ers posed in costume as there are men in the photo. Jim Jamieson, who submitted the picture, said the 13 classmates who roomed together in an entry of Holder Hall and later in Little were “goofing around for no particular reason.” Doug Ditmars said, “It must have been Halloween.” Dick Cass joked, “We were probably on the way to the library.” Standing from left: George Lynn, Woody Patrick, Pete Peterson, Ed Digges Jr., Ditmars, Cass, Gus Gaston, David Cook, Dick Benner, Dale Bosley, and Jorge Sanchez; seated: Jamieson and Dick Broad.
