Gordon Wu ’58 and his wife, Ivy, sponsored what is believed to be the largest “mini-reunion” outside the United States in Princeton history when they brought about 160 people – members of the Class of 1958 and their guests – to China for a week at the end of February and early March (many of the alumni then extended their trip for another week). The Wus covered their visitors’ hotel and meal costs and shuttled them around Hong Kong, Guangzhou, and Macau in four tour buses. Wu, a Princeton trustee, is chairman of Hopewell Holdings, a property investment and development group.
