Seven winter teams clinched Ivy League titles between Feb. 27 and March 6. In addition to women’s basketball (p. 15), the Tiger men and women dominated in fencing, swimming and diving, and indoor track and field.

The senior-led WOMEN’S SWIMMING team won its third league crown in four years at the Ivy championship meet in Cambridge, Mass., Feb. 25–27. Courtney Kilkuts ’10, above left, won the 200-meter individual medley for the fourth time. Alicia Aemisegger ’10 won three events to finish her career with 12 individual Ivy golds.  

MEN’S SWIMMING won this year’s Ivy championship meet at DeNunzio Pool March 4­–6, giving Princeton’s seniors their third team title. Sophomores Jonathan Christensen, above right, and Bryan Tay each won two individual events, and freshman Will Lawley led a 1–2–3–4 Princeton finish in the 200-yard freestyle.

Final-day victories by Ashley Higginson ’11, above left, (1-mile run), Reilly Kiernan ’10 (3,000-meter run), and Thanithia Billings ’11 (weight throw) helped WOMEN’S TRACK topple defending-champion Cornell at the indoor Ivy Heptagonal Championships at Harvard Feb. 27–28.  

In MEN’S TRACK, Princeton dominated the ­middle-distance races and performed well in the field events to beat second-place Cornell at the indoor Heps. Winners included Austin ­Hollimon ’12, above right, (400-meter dash), and Eric Plummer ’10 (shot put).

Andrea Oliva ’12, above left, won the decisive bout as WOMEN’S FENCING edged Harvard 14–13 Feb. 28 to complete a perfect 6–0 Ivy season and its first league championship since 2001. Standouts included Susannah Scanlan ’12 (epee), Brianna Martin ’13 (foil), and Eliza Stone ’13 (sabre).
